Question: Can I do a private letterbox drop in our tower building? I’m trying to get a Facebook Group going to create Community.

Are there are rules about doing a private letterbox drop in my building? In our high-density tower block, I dropped off flyers to start a Facebook group as I wanted to create some community. The Building Manager said I can’t do this. Is this correct?

Answer: The Building Manager, and indeed the management company, should be offering support, not be a hindrance.

Vibrant and connected communities – a priority above all else!

What a wonderful thought, and what great lengths you’re going to for your community!

Any initial steps a volunteer owner can take to activate the community and strive to connect residents, in particular in these times of high incidents of loneliness & lockdowns, should be welcomed and supported with open arms.

The Building Manager, and indeed the management company, should be offering support, not be a hindrance. Our team has had wonderful success at joining, supporting, actively participating and engaging with owners on our clients’ private community Facebook groups.

Post away I say, and well done for taking the initiative to empower your community to stay connected with each other.
