WA: The water pipes under the common area driveway supply water to the back 2 strata lots in a 3 lot strata. They have sprung several leaks and the pipes have had to be replaced. Who is responsible for the replacement costs given the problem point was in the common area?
QLD: The on-site management rights are being sold. If the new caretaker outsources the work to contractors, is the new caretaker responsible if those contractors don’t keep the complex up to a satisfactory standard?
NSW: If a committee has decided to accept a quote or approve a motion at other than a recognised meeting, can the quote or motion be acted on before the correct VOC process has been followed and owners are notified of results?
