QLD Q: A lot owner breaches multiple bylaws after not receiving what she sees as a desirable outcome on a fence issue. What is the best way to handle this?
NSW: In the AGM last year, we all voted to have a defibrillator. The chairman and secretary voted against it and are digging their heels in. Can they do this?
SA Q: The breacher piece broke in an external wall. Strata management state the wall is exclusive use, and as the breacher serviced only our unit, we would not be reimbursed. Is this correct?
QLD Q: The chairman controls the meetings, the information provided and votes on all matters including his remuneration. Is this not a conflict of interest? Is there any way to challenge this?
NSW Q: The owners corporation engaged a company to repair our leaking shower. During the repair, the company damaged our shower screen. The OC will not fix the screen. Who is responsible?
QLD Q: If Committee meetings notices are published on a “community” website, does this satisfy the legislative requirement for the display of the Notices on the noticeboard?
