NSW Q: One of our lot owners sometimes mows the lawn in front of their unit. If they hurt themselves while mowing and gardening on either their lot or common property, could they sue strata?
QLD Q: What happens if prior to a meeting date when one or more of the owners who originally requested that the meeting occur withdraw their support? This would mean that there is no longer 25% support?
NSW Q: I have purchased a unit and noticed there is no smoke alarm installed inside the apartment. Strata states this is my responsibility. Is this right?
QLD Q: Our committee has a “committee email address” for all owners to contact the committee. Are these emails Body Corporate records and should owners be able to access them?
NSW Q: Our strata manager won't conduct even a phone meeting. All voting is done via post. There is no forum to talk to other owners or discussion. How is this right?
