NSW Q: An owner of a lot in our complex passed away 2 months ago. A family member is now residing in the deceased owner’s lot. What are the rules and timelines around the issue of notification and disclosure to the owners corporation?
ACT Q: My double size sloping drive strip has many areas of broken concrete creating a tripping hazard. The Owners Corporation says it is not covered. As I’m 80 I’m terrified of falling.
NSW: Can a vote on a decision be raised after a decision and expense has occurred? Under what circumstances does a decision require a special resolution? And who decides a special resolution is appropriate?
QLD Q: Does a strata loan have to be entered into by all lot owners? If some owners can meet their share of the costs upfront, can the remaining loan get levied to the owners who needed the funds?
