Join Frank and Chris on Friday 10 July at 2 pm AEST in conjunction with LookUpStrata as they try to help you through the maze of smoking in strata. Submit your questions here | Register for the event here

As at 3 July 2020, the further easing of COVID-19 restrictions in Queensland is now in place. What does this mean for QLD Bodies Corporate, Committees and strata residents?
Question: To undertake major and minor renovations, do we need a separate by-law submitted for each item or can it all be included in one special renovation by-law?
Question: A lot owner has requested to install CCTV cameras. I'm the only owner to object because it affects my privacy the most. Can I do anything to stop this from going ahead?
Question: In storms, water enters our apartment via the window frames and runs down the walls. Who is responsible to fix this and stop the windows from leaking?
Question: The owners corporation has removed a tree which provided our apartment with shade and privacy. Does the owners corporation have any obligations to replace the tree?

NAT: Priorities for a post pandemic landlord-renter relationship in Australia
RMIT Invites you to participate in the research project ‘Priorities for a post pandemic landlord-renter relationship in Australia.’ We are interested in learning more about scale of the problems caused by Covid-19 for landlords and tenants. The results could help shape government action by providing research evidence into how to further assist the landlord-renter relationship. You can find out more via this FactSheet. You have until 12 July to complete the survey.
You can complete the survey here. Why not forward the newsletter on if you know of anyone who can assist with the survey. Thank you for your time.
