We don’t need to rehash what we have written previously about the state government’s cladding laws but you can read the article again if you want to.
The date for all buildings that are caught by the cladding regulations to effectively opt out of the regime (if that is the case) is 29 March. If you don’t opt out, your building is going to stage two, with the consequential costs, even if it is not caught. If you haven’t looked at the cladding issue, the time is nigh.

NSW: The questions remain is do we as a Strata Corporation have to do something or not regarding the initial Fire Safety Installation Certificate & Annual Fire Safety Certificate given our building was built in the early 1970’s? and if so what are the scope of works required?
NSW: What the Government appears to be oblivious too is that Residential Strata Plans are just that - NOT SERVICED apartments, owners purchased knowing this particularly in retirement areas Ballina, Bryon and Tweed Heads and now the game is changing for the minority to the determent of the majority.....
